Event Summary:

Crumbling infrastructure and increasing regulation are pushing American cities to find alternative ways to keep up maintenance and necessary improvements to water and wastewater systems, including the use of public private partnerships (P3s).  As P3s are increasingly considered for water infrastructure projects, it is becoming clear that we cannot simply apply the same P3 approach used in transportation or social infrastructure projects. The unique nature of water and the complex regulatory issues and risks at the core of any water project present unique challenges and opportunities for P3s.  A panel of experts will discuss the unique aspects of the water sector, including the different risks which arise in water projects and how such risks are best mitigated and allocated among the various parties. Join us as our panel of experts guide the industry through those challenges and opportunities, and contemplate the future of water P3s.
