Green Bonds are increasingly becoming a financing option that issuers are considering and investors are seeking in order to finance Canadian projects and other infrastructure.
The panel will focus on financing projects and related infrastructure by way of Green Bonds and will discuss key issues for issuers and investors considering limited recourse project financing using Green Bonds.
Issues to be considered include (a) what makes a bond “Green”, (b) structuring a project to access financing by way of Green Bonds, (c) differences between Green Bonds and other conventional bond financings, including technical considerations, and (d) underwriter and investor appetite for Green Bonds.
