The Korean government will expedite renewables development over the next 4-5 years, given its commitment at the Paris conference to reduce carbon emissions and its aim to increase Korea’s use of energy sources with lower emissions and lower risk of catastrophe. Investments by institutional investors in renewable projects will become increasingly important, given the huge funding needs. A panel of experts will discuss the implications of Korea’s renewable policy; the opportunities and challenges for investors; and how to assess risk for renewable projects through case studies.
