The Victorian Government has announced its renewable energy target of 25% renewable energy by 2020 and 40% renewable energy by 2025. Consultation by the Government into the structure of a series of auctions to build renewable energy capacity in Victoria is open and ended on 31 August 2016. The forum will invite representatives from government, the renewable energy industry and project financiers to discuss the proposed auctions and how project finance can contribute to meeting the RET.
