Event Summary:

The aim of the workshop is to initiate a strong and steady momentum for creating an enabling environment for PPPs in Rwanda. This will give Rwandan organisations (both public & private) access to high quality knowledge and experience as well as creating a platform for identifying capacity building needs in areas of PPPs.

The main output of this workshop will be an assessment of the needs and interest for establishing a structured dialogue platform between the Rwandan authorities promoting PPP projects and their potential private sector partners to create a suitable environment for the preparation and implementation of PPPs in Rwanda.

The expected outcomes will go beyond networking and exchange of prospects; it really aims at allowing the Rwandan public and private sectors to gain skills on how to better engage with PPP professionals on a regular basis in order to fast track the implementation of PPP projects. It will also help the private sector to better understand the local needs and opportunities so they can get organised to better respond to them.
