IPFA's FLN in Europe invites its members to a networking event on 13 September 2017 in Amsterdam. We will discuss “Project and project finance opportunities in Africa for Dutch parties”.
Following a keynote speech on the growth of project finance opportunities in Africa for domestic and international parties, there will be networking sessions discussing the exportability of Dutch project and project finance expertise in the fields of wind, hydro and solar energy, mining and oil & gas to Africa and the challenges of and opportunities for doing business in North and South of Sahara Africa. Participants will discuss the structures of and opportunities for private projects and PPPs in Africa, all the while trying to answer the question “which lessons are to be learned and which pitfalls are to be avoided?”.
Format:
At registration, participants will be given the number of a networking table. For the networking sessions they start at the table with their number, where they will discuss a suggested topic, before moving to the next table (numbering upwards).
