ING and the International Project Finance Association invite you to join us for a seminar focusing on the delivery of infrastructure in a sustainability aware age.
Discussing implementation of sustainability at both a transaction and policy level, a group of industry experts will debate the balance between a sustainable future and delivering real infrastructure investment.
1) In a time of both budgetary constraint and pressing infrastructure needs, is infrastructure investment hindered by the sustainability agenda?
2) How can the infrastructure sector take advantage of technological innovations in the energy sector, and what financing models are available to fund these latest developments?
3) Who is responsible for delivering sustainable infrastructure? Should government regulate, or can the private sector act responsibly without government intervention?
4) What challenges have governments experienced in delivering sustainable infrastructure and are there lessons to be learnt?
5) Can the private sector exceed sustainability expectations and still profit in a competitive marketplace?
6) Has government taken an appropriate lead in implementing sustainability in government procurement, or can more be done?
