Rapid urbanisation and population growth are putting huge demands on urban infrastructure and resource needs. Managing that growth sustainably is one of the most significant issues facing our generation. Global trends of urbanisation, digitisation and sustainability affect both companies and individuals. Integrated city solutions together with emerging business models such as the circular economy will transform the way that companies do business.
Norton Rose Fulbright are investing a great deal of resources in exploring this topic, and recently produced a video summarising their thinking in this area.
In this session we will explore some of the key risks and opportunities which are likely to arise as a result of the increasing technologisation of the urban environment.
