For centuries the Dutch have been doing the impossible, which is living at several meters below sea levels. To ensure safety, we have come up with numerous ingenious creations to keep the water off our lands. Over the years this resulted in many countries coming over to the Netherlands for advice and inspiration on how to copy these techniques to their lands. Global investments in flood protection alone are expected to be around EUR 20bln per year. Other areas of water management such as wastewater treatment, desalination, sewers and hydropower also provide interesting investment opportunities.
Not only speakers but also the audience is encouraged to speak out their minds. Using a fun, interactive and simple tool you will be asked to share your opinion and ask the speakers your very own questions. This way you can get the most out of this event!
