IPFA Europe: Vienna: Project Finance in Austria and Beyond - Social Infrastructure and Financing in CEE region
The Austrian market has taken a turn towards more PPP powered projects and now has developed a pipeline of project finance transactions set on improving the country’s infrastructure, with a focus on Social Infrastructure, most notably Viennese schools. Furthermore, Lower Austria pilots a broadband scheme, which is expected to attract international participants. This event will also look at the current situation when it comes to financing in the CEE and what the future holds for the region, with a focus on financing and refinancing of airports.
The first part of this event will give an insight into projects in Austria and their development, whilst the second part will consider CEE and the Balkan regions.
This will be IPFA’s first ad-hoc event in Austria’s capital, and will be held in English to appeal to a wider audience.
