Event Summary:

Please note that this event was previously scheduled to take place on Thursday 25th September, 2014.

Ireland has embarked on a €17bn, 5-year, capital programme, within which private sector funding and the continued successful deployment of the PPP model will form a crucial part. Government strategy emphasises that a strong and sustainable construction sector will help support jobs, enhance competitiveness and further drive Ireland’s recovery. But, following an extremely challenging period for the sector, how is the construction market positioned to deliver on this pipeline .… what can be learnt from past experiences and what does the future hold for contractors, investors, funders and procuring authorities when looking at construction risks in major infrastructure projects?
