Event Summary:

With broad political support, the Swedish government has set an ambitious target for the future: 100% renewable electricity production by the year of 2040. Is this possible or merely a politician's dream? This event will address the challenges and opportunities we face in making that target a reality. Specifically, the outlook of investments in renewable energy on a short and long term will be discussed and attendees will gain valuable insights from investors active in the market. Early this year, the Swedish Energy Policy Commission presented a number of proposals and assessments on various aspects of the energy sector and the political roadmap to 2040 will likely pave way for many new market players that can make an impact on future ways of investing in renewables; attendees will meet one of them. A panel will discuss specific opportunities for renewable energy investments and a change in investment attitude towards the sector.
