Event Summary:

The Nordic countries are becoming a significant market for LNG partly due to the new emission regulations for sulphur dioxide coming to effect this year. The increased availability of LNG will serve marine traffic, the increasing needs of industrial clients outside the natural gas grids and future needs of heavy duty traffic as well as possibly change the security of supply of natural gas both in the Nordic and the Baltic countries.
This session will focus on recent developments and ongoing LNG projects in the Nordic countries and aims at providing current and hands-on insight on topics e.g. the macroeconomics of LNG, the developing regulatory base in the region, financing of LNG projects and dispute resolution.
