With the first generation of Healthcare PPP projects in Turkey nearing successful financial close and commencement of construction, there are now around 20 of these projects at tendered by the Ministry of Health and at various stages of the process.
Significant advances have been made for Healthcare PPP projects in the last couple of years but, like earlier generation Turkish PPP programs, they have encountered a range of serious predictable and unpredictable issues.
We feel that the timing is right to bring together sector leaders to take stock and to discuss the challenges that have been encountered, how they can and have been mitigated and what the future of PPP in Turkey looks like in the Healthcare sector and beyond.
