As details emerge of the operation of the CfD and Capacity regimes through which EMR is being implemented, developers and financiers are taking stock of what this means for future large scale renewable energy projects, while smaller scale projects still grapple with access to competitively priced finance and with the challenges of reducing feed-in tariffs. Scotland remains a focal point for extensive future development of renewable energy assets, with a strong pipeline of wind and hydro assets, both large and smaller scale, and significant future potential in marine energy. This event will give the opportunity to hear and discuss senior government, legal, financier and developer perspectives on the opportunities and constraints for future developments.
