2016 was a turbulent year for the energy industry in the UK as we saw (amongst other things) further delay in the next CfD auction and the early closure of RO to onshore wind. 2017 looks set to bring its own challenges, but the Autumn Statement provided the ideal opportunity to give investors with the confidence they need to make long term infrastructure investments.
