Event Summary:

Despite the establishment of an increasingly competitive auction landscape for renewable generation, European offshore wind generation projects continue to grow in number, with increasing capacity levels and a wide variety of stakeholders. This event will explore how sector growth has been achieved in an environment of increasing cost pressures and address the risks, challenges and opportunities attached to the financing of an offshore wind farm in competitive auctions.

Following a keynote presentation from a leading member of the Dutch Ministry for Economic Affairs, in light of the unprecedented success of the Borssele auctions earlier this year, and a respected consulting engineer on the technical developments reducing costs, a panel of industry specialists and financiers will share valuable insights in a round table discussion on the current and future financing environment of this type of asset.
