Event Summary:

Following the GFC, Governments around the World set a challenge for institutional investors to bridge the infrastructure financing gap. The perception for many was that direct institutional investor participation in the financing infrastructure projects was very much as an alternative funding route.   In Today’s market in both greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects (including PPPs) institutional investors are regularly competing and winning mandates for direct investment. This session provides IPFA members with an insight in the current state of the institutional investment market, future outlook for institutional investment and potential challenges moving forward for the infrastructure market. It brings together key industry players to discuss the “new normal”.
