Event Summary:

Since the start of 2013 the UK economy has been growing at a relatively strong rate, and in 2014 total infrastructure spending reached $119bn. In a recent update to PwC's 'Capital Projects and Infrastructure spending: Outlook to 2025', PwC and Oxford Economics forecast that the UK's share of European infrastructure investment is expected to increase from 22% in 2014 to 23% in 2025, with total spending reaching $182bn by 2025. The composition of this spending is likely to look somewhat different though, with transportation and utilities infrastructure becoming growing investment priorities, while extraction and telecoms diminish in importance.

At this seminar, Geoffrey Spence will provide an update on IUK's plans and how they have changed with the new government. This will then be followed by a panel discussion on how the UK can meet and prioritise these forecast spending requirements. You will have the opportunity to carry on these discussions at the annual IPFA summer drinks reception, hosted by PwC.

This session will be followed by our Annual Summer Networking Drinks Reception.
