Self branding and networking is fundamental to the development of Future Leaders. This is one skill that is often overlooked and its impact understated. The theme of this session will focus on how to develop the skills to take advantage of the many business opportunities available in Africa. This event will feature a keynote address by a Networking Specialist, Helen Nicholson, includes an interactive discussion with branding specialist Guido van Garderen, followed by a short  panel discussion. The networking session after the event will provide the ideal opportunity to put in to practice what will be discussed in the session.

The IPFA Future Leaders Network (FLN) is specifically targeted at the next generation of leaders in the industry and the South African branch aims to provide a platform for IPFA’s junior members to:

- encourage innovative thinking to tackle the infrastructure development needs of South Africa
- foster inter-disciplinary collaboration amongst young and mid-career Project Finance and other associated professionals.
- enhance the professional and business interests of members
- encourage networking with and learning from each other
- access experience and insight from inspirational current leaders to mould local and internationally competitive future leaders
- keep up to date with latest market developments and how these affect their careers
