The Myanmar government is taking measures to speed up the development of the country's infrastructure including in the power, transportation and telecommunications sectors. This interactive event will provide an overview of the opportunities and challenges facing lenders and sponsors when structuring major projects and project finance transactions in Myanmar, focusing on the current regulatory regime for projects in Myanmar, security packages and a general introduction to financing in-country projects. A lawyer from Baker McKenzie’s Yangon office will provide their insights in a keynote, followed by a panel discussion featuring subject matter and country experts. This seminar is a must for company representatives, legal counsel and investment professionals from lenders and sponsors with an interest in project finance in Myanmar.
