IPFA Middle East: Dubai: Developing Renewables in the Middle East and North Africa Region (MENA)
This event will provide an opportunity for delegates to hear from a panel of qualified and experienced practitioners about the various legal, financial and technical challenges and opportunities with getting renewable energy projects ‘off-the-ground’ in the Middle East and North Africa Region (MENA).
The panel will be addressing the following points:
• How big is the renewables market in the MENA region? Where are the hot-spots and why?
• Is the flow of investment capital into renewables sufficient within/coming into the region sufficient to realise the opportunity posed by renewables - what is needed to change this?
• What are the main stumbling blocks/hurdles to developing renewable projects in the Middle East (Environmental, Legal, Financial etc.)?
• What is the future of renewables in the MENA region?
Please also feel free to submit any specific questions you may have relating to the aforementioned topics and we will try to address them on the day: laura.dabas@ipfa.org
