IPFA Asia: Singapore: ADB PPP Monitor and the PPP Environment in Asia

Co-hosted by ADB, Allen & Overy, Ashurst, Mott MacDonald, PwC and SMBC

The PPP Monitor is a unique publication that tracks the regulatory framework, institutional capacity for project implementation, market maturity and financial facilities of each member country.

With sector-specific information, PPP Monitor also provides updates on general developments of PPP markets in each country. The first edition includes Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, with others to follow in the 2nd edition in 2018. This publication provides commercially-relevant and insightful information on PPP markets which will be a useful resource to both private and public sector organisations wanting to understand constraints and opportunities for PPP projects in specific countries and sectors.

The development of the publication has also benefitted from input by Mott MacDonald who provided much of the technical sector insights and undertook the project management, as well as a wide range of respected legal and financial advisors including Allen & Overy, Baker McKenzie, Ashurst, PwC, SMBC and Mizuho.

This event will provide an overview of the PPP Monitor by ADB and Mott MacDonald and will also include a panel discussion on the monitor and the current PPP market across Asia featuring the contributing advisors.
