Over the past year, Australia’s renewable energy boom has entered a new phase, in which big wins in new generation have been coupled with concerns over grid stability and reliability. Large-scale energy storage is being presented as a potential solution to these concerns, due to its fast-start capability and its ability to moderate fluctuating supply to meet daily and seasonal peaks in demand. Following some initial high profile successes in Victoria and South Australia, this promising sub-sector is certainly “one to watch” for developers and investors.

Join our subject matter experts for an interactive primer on the technical, economic and policy drivers of the current surge in storage technology in the Australian energy market.
