IPFA Australia: Melbourne: Corporate Power Purchase Agreements - Future Trends in the Australian Market

Please note that this event now has a waiting list!

As retail electricity prices skyrocket and energy policy continues to be the third rail of Australian politics, corporates are taking matters into their own hands by contracting directly with renewable energy generators to meet some or all of their energy needs.

This trend is expected to accelerate, particularly as the cost of renewable energy production falls and standardised terms and conditions begin to emerge.

However, developers, corporates and advisers continue to push a range of structures with wildly varying risk allocations. The commercial impact of which are not always well understood.

Our panel will discuss the opportunities and risks associated with Corporate Power Purchase Agreements and their views on the future trends as the Australian market continues to mature.
