IPFA Americas: Vancouver: Owner Due Diligence on Proponents and Project Co Consortia
TO REGISTER: please scroll down to the bottom of this webpage and click 'Book'.
Public authorities have adopted a range of practices in Canada in carrying out due diligence investigations, assessments and evaluations on the credentials, experiences and reputations of respondent/proponent teams at the RFQ/RFP stages of their procurement processes and on the Project Co consortium contracting, security and financing arrangements at the time of commercial closing.
These owner side practices continue to evolve as further insights and understandings are developed with both the successful (and challenged) completion and management of projects across Canada and globally.
A very experienced panel has been organized to discuss current best practices and the alternative approaches to public authority/owner due diligence at these different stages and for various purposes. The panel will address the whys, whens and hows of relevant, effective and timely public authority due diligence investigations with constructive suggestions for possible improved practices.
