What is the Commission's National Infrastructure Assessment?
The National Infrastructure Commission Government published the UK’s first-ever National Infrastructure Assessment on 10 July this year. The Assessment sets out a long-term vision up to 2050 for the UK’s infrastructure, covering a range of areas including the development of low-carbon energy generation, preparing the UK’s roads for autonomous and electric vehicles, encouraging growth in UK cities and rethinking our approach to waste management. It also makes recommendations for how such infrastructure should be funded and financed.
