IPFA Asia: Singapore: Asia Offshore Wind - Is Taiwan Still the Model to Be Followed?

TO REGISTER: please scroll down to the bottom of this webpage and click 'Book'

In light of recent industry announcements, is Taiwan still the model to be followed by other developing offshore wind markets in Asia?

By establishing a generous FIT regime, an efficient permitting process and ambitious offshore wind targets, Taiwan has attracted sponsors, investors and other stakeholders and some commentators have suggested that it serves as the model that should be followed by other developing offshore wind markets in Asia. However, what should other markets in Asia apply, adapt and perhaps ignore from the Taiwanese model?
