IPFA London: Middle East Market Update – A Closer Look at the GCC

The countries comprising the Gulf Co-Operation Council (GCC) - Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman - are increasingly coming to market with their ambitious projects and infrastructure programmes across the region. Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) are the way forward.  Pipelines are burgeoning across several sectors. Competition (regional and international) is increasing.  M&A activity is ever present, and companies ‘mulling’ an IPO are a regular occurrence. But is it all true? Are infrastructure pipelines really burgeoning across the GCC? And in what sectors? Is there enough liquidity in the region or is there a need for more international lenders?

Hear from a distinguished panel from the Middle East, who work as developers, lenders and advisors in the region, as they talk about infrastructure in the GCC countries, the pipelines, the sectors, the  funding, and the regulatory landscape. All the speakers have ‘boots on the ground’ so you will hear a first-hand perspective of the market, the prevailing conditions and the opportunities. A first of its kind event, and one not to be missed!
