 Project Ireland 2040, is the government’s strategy to make Ireland a better country. By 2040, there will be one million additional residents in Ireland. The plan improves regional connectivity, competitiveness, and environmental sustainability, or does it?

This seminar will address how Project Ireland 2040 is progressing. It will focus on:

• National Planning Framework – Does it work?
• NDP and Funding of Infrastructure – Where is the cash?
• Delivery of Strategic Infrastructure Developments- trends and forecast activity, proposed review – streamlining pre-applications process, oral hearing, legislative amendments (for Department to consider)
• Strategic Housing Development – How to make it work

The panel will provide insights and updates on key infrastructure projects they are involved in, and some lessons learnt.
