IPFA Japan: Tokyo: The Outlook for Energy Resource Aggregation Business in Japan

In the midst of power market reform and the movement towards subsidy-free renewable energy, Energy Resource Aggregation Business (“ERAB”) including battery energy storage systems and virtual power plants, are expected to become the key drivers of growth in the energy market in Japan. The session is focused on ERAB, featuring an overview and outlook on the market and regulation, and the initiatives that leading players in the market are pursuing in Japan and overseas.
