Presenting Effectively


Your palms are clammy. Your mouth is dry. An audience sits in expectation. You’re about to do a presentation in public. Does this fill you with dread? Do you want to run from the room screaming?

Thankfully there are tips and techniques to help lessen the fear of presenting in public. This session is all about speaking in public and what you can do to make it a better experience for yourself and also your audience.

Speaker Name & Bio: Scott Crossland

Scott is a highly experienced Senior Manager at Turner & Townsend with a track record in delivering complex projects in hostile or politically charged environments. Scott will often be brought in when projects run into difficulties or have even been abandoned; using tried and tested best practice approaches, he has been able to effectively build rapport with key stakeholders, communicate with empathy and articulate perspectives clearly in order to achieve a common goal.
