IPFA Asia: Singapore: Energy from Waste: Trash or Treasure?

The urban population in Southeast Asia and South Asia combined is estimated to rise by up to 600 million by 2030.  This staggering growth places significant pressure on governments in the region to find adequate solutions for effective and environmentally responsible waste management and electricity generation.  A panel comprising industry stakeholders and advisors will come together to discuss the merits of energy from waste projects and to address the key challenges faced when implementing them.

The full agenda will be announced shortly.
