Infrastructure development is an important driver of investment and growth in Quebec and a priority for the public and private sectors. The Quebec government has planned to invest $ 88.7 billion in various activity sectors in its 2016-2026 Québec Infrastructure Plan (PQI) (road network, public transportation, maritime, air, rail, social and other sectors).
The Canada Infrastructure Bank will invest $ 35 billion from the federal government in transformative infrastructure projects in public transit, trade and transportation, green infrastructure and high-speed internet.
The meeting will begin with a presentation by Jean-Marc Arbaud, Directeur Général of CDPQ Infra, who will present an update on the REM and CDPQ Infra activities beyond. Frédéric Bettez, General manager, Investments of Canada Infrastructure Bank, will then address CIB’s activities and mandates.
After these speeches, a panel will discuss various subjects relating to the infrastructure sector in Quebec and in particular innovations in terms of financing and the impact of digital transformation.
What are the prospects and the priorities of the infrastructure sector? Where are the opportunities? Which companies and organizations contribute to the advancement of these projects?
Join us for a briefing and discussion during which world renowned infrastructure experts from Quebec and the public and private sectors will discuss the current and future state of the infrastructure sector. This session will be of interest to investors, promoters, entrepreneurs, government representatives and anyone interested in the future of Quebec infrastructure.
This event will be held in English.
