Webinar | Sustainable Investment: ESG Implementation Barriers and Opportunities in North America

Institutional investors increasingly recognize Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) as a priority in their infrastructure portfolios. There’s a growing opportunity and need for government to provide leadership to drive how public infrastructure can be effectively procured and implemented to meet international, national, and local climate change and sustainability policies and objectives.

Building on our introductory session in February on infrastructure deficit and the role of ESG standards and frameworks in sustainable investment, we will delve into what this means in a North American context. We’ll be discussing the role that governments have to play in considering alternative procurement models to promote sustainable infrastructure in investment planning, strategy, and pursuing value orientated implementation.

Speakers:

Denise Bower, Executive Director, Mott MacDonald (Moderator)
Jim Pass, Global Head of Project Finance, Guggenheim Partners
David McCauley, Senior VP for Global Partnerships & Multilateral Engagement, WWF
