Construction for Energy Infrastructure and Energy Projects in Sweden and the Nordics
Large investments in Energy Infrastructure and Energy Projects in Sweden are currently under way, planned or envisioned. Both new expansions including current, new and/or developing technologies as well as refurbishments of the existing Energy infrastructure catering to e.g. nuclear, wind, water, solar etc. – on-shore and off-shore projects - and the grid capacity - all of this requires will define and dominate the coming decades. Energy supply, stability and distribution is, and will for a long time remain, a priority for the public and private sectors.
The opportunities and challenges are plentiful for everyone involved in, or looking to become involved in, the Swedish Energy market regardless of the role or perspective one has.
This event will highlight and present a few key player’s view and the legal and commercial environment and challenges in Sweden for construction projects – with a focus on energy related construction – which are highly dependent on a keen knowledge and understanding of the laws, regulations and most certainly the almost all-encompassing use, as well as the practical application and interpretation, of certain Swedish Standard Contracts in lieu of the International Standard Contracts often used elsewhere in Europe and globally.
