IPFA UK FLN
Honest Conversations - Social Mobility and the Question of Inclusive Access
The challenge of unequal access due to opportunity disparities, education gaps, and socio-economic barriers creates a 'class ceiling' that demands more than hard work to overcome. By prioritising open dialogue and fostering collective willingness to learn, we aim to propel meaningful change towards achieving tangible impact
This event will focus on exploring the nuances of social mobility discussions whilst addressing key challenges in translating passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) into actionable momentum.
This is an IPFA event for all members organised by the FLN. We encourage all backgrounds, ethnicities, genders and levels of seniority to join.
Discussion points will include:
- Elevate an intersectional DEI concern like social mobility, openly discussing the remaining milestones to achieve parity.
- Engage senior leaders, decision-makers, and Future Leaders in a topic often considered taboo, encouraging open sharing of perspectives.
- Facilitate a thought-provoking panel discussion on social mobility to inspire ongoing conversations and tangible actions.
- Initiate a cross-institutional collaboration pilot to promote open discussions and share best practices regarding social mobility.

- Shreeya Paudel, Associate, Infrastructure & Energy EMEA (Origination & Advisory), MUFG (Moderator)
