FLN Social - Energising the Future: Financing for Renewables

This event is fully booked. Please register your interest below to be added to the waiting list. We will inform you if we can offer you a place.

Future Leaders are invited to join us for the first Sydney event of 2024! We will be hearing about the financing of energy projects in NSW, before we kick off the year with drinks, canapés and networking.

The model proposed for the Central West Orana (CWO) Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) around Dubbo is the first in NSW. This model has the potential to be adopted on future projects not just in NSW, but around Australia. At its peak, the project will support around 5000 construction jobs and bring up to $10 billion in private investment to the region.

With $3.9 billion invested by the NSW Government into clean energy as part of the 2023-2024 budget, in a keynote and Q&A, we will explore how this growth sector will continue to create significant opportunities in regional communities across NSW.

Speakers:

Mike Polich – Finance and Regulatory Director, EnergyCo CWO REZ

Mark Westbrook – Chief Project Officer, EnergyCo

Stephanie McGregor – Australian Energy Sector Lead, TSA Management
