Growth and Developments in Disability Housing
Disability Housing, known as Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), is housing for people who require specialist housing solutions, including to assist with the delivery of supports that cater for their extreme functional impairment or very high support needs.
The National Disability Insurance Agency projects that demand for SDA will increase from requiring housing for about 22,900 people in June 2022 to about 36,700 in June 2042.
Our moderator-led panel is set to discuss the dynamic landscape of SDA, bringing together key stakeholders from government, institutional investors and SDA providers.
The conversation will cover the growth of SDA as an asset class, strategies to attract diverse capital sources, the pivotal role of price reviews, insights from SDA providers and Supported Independent Living providers, build and land cost considerations, tax implications and future-focused discussions on innovation and strategic direction.
Join us for what will be a deep-dive into this critical and growing housing asset class in Australia.
