PPP Projects Coming to Market in Flanders

Over the coming years, the mobility and public works department of the Flemish region will bring an impressive pipeline of PPP projects to market. With a total investment of over several billions of euros, the Flemish region will both refurbish old infrastructure as well as invest in new road infrastructure, public transportation, waterways and civil structures.

By attending, you will hear these important plans first-hand from the secretary general, Filip Boelaert.

Discussion Points:

- Large pipeline of investments in mobility infrastructure – to what extent are the investment necessary?

- Are PPP suited for these investment?

- Can the financial market cope with the financing needs?

- To what extent is EIB willing to participate in the financings?
