Vision 2030 - How Capital Markets are Powering Infrastructure Requirements

We expect to see continued large-scale infrastructure investments in Saudi Arabia across a large set of sectors over the next decade under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy, accompanied by major sustainability related investments as the Kingdom strives to achieve its target to reach net zero emissions by 2060. This will create significant funding requirements and we believe the banking sector alone will not be able to meet all funding needs, creating opportunities for the capital markets.

Join us for this panel session with industry leaders who will discuss the need for KSA corporates and GREs to diversify their funding, and the role of capital markets to support their goals.

Panel 1 Speakers:
- Sarah Varghese, Partner, KPMG (Moderator)
- Dan Taylor, Senior Advisor to CEO, NIF, INFRA
- Samer N. Jumean, Head of Infrastructure Advisory, KPMG
- Shibeer Ahmed, Shareholder, Greenberg Traurig Legal
- Timucin Engin, Managing Director, S&P Global Ratings

Panel 2 Speakers:
- Pablo Lutereau, Chief Analytical Officer, S&P Global Ratings (Moderator)
- Brendan Cronin, Director, AFRY Management Consulting
- Fernando Faria, Head of Infrastructure Financing, KPMG
- Khaled Almedbel, Executive Director, ACWA Power
- Sofia Bensaid, Director Infrastructure & Project Finance, S&P Global Ratings
