IPFA Future Leaders Network Continental Europe
North Sea Energy Hubs: It’s All Connected
The North Sea will play a vital role in the energy transition of the countries bordering it. With several national offshore wind parks up and running, countries are now looking to turn the North Sea into a global energy hub through several interconnected energy islands. The envisaged hub-and-spoke model will ensure flexibility and certainty around changing energy demands, whilst also providing a platform for emerging technologies offshore solar and hydrogen to play their parts too.
Future Leaders come and join us for an insightful discussion between key industry players.
Discussion Points:
- What will the future of infrastructure look like?
- Where do interconnectors and international agreements come in?
- What are some of the challenges we need to think about, such as the environment or national security?
