Developing Offshore Wind in Ireland – Phase Two and Beyond
Offshore Wind targets in Ireland are ambitious; 5 GW by 2030, 20 GW by 2040 and at least 37 GW by 2050. The scale of investment necessary to deliver on our offshore targets is unprecedented.
A significant amount of regulatory and policy work has been undertaken by the State to develop the initial phases of offshore wind and future developments are fast afoot at this pivotal time. The State is progressing the second offshore auction (ORESS 2.1) and has recently published the Draft Offshore Renewable Energy Future Framework Policy Statement, a key document relating to the long-term framework for the development of offshore wind in Ireland out to 2050.
Join us at this event for insights by leading industry experts on the current and future regulatory and policy frameworks for offshore wind in Ireland.
