2024 Changing Economic Climate on Investing in Renewables

Investment in transmission and generation across Australia is expected to be over 250bn over the next decade.

However, changing economic conditions are stifling the investment in renewables, with only 3 projects going to Financial close in 2023.

Join us as we explore whether:

- Project IRRs are at an all time low

- Transmission connections are longer, costlier, and in some cases unavailable

- Economic changes in debt and equity are changing investment hurdles

The impact of these changes require a rethink on how renewable investment happens.

This event is open to IPFA Members, so we encourage you to bring along a Future Leader in your organisation to share views, learn and network at this topical event.

Speakers to be confirmed.
