Bankability of Renewable Generation and Storage Projects – PPA and Offtake Deep Dive

Join us for an interactive session providing an update on key principles and the latest trends associated with PPA and other offtake arrangements for renewable generation and storage projects and an assessment of associated bankability and project financing trends.

The session will focus on providing a framework for identifying key bankability risks associated with these projects.  We will hear from legal, financial and technical experts on how to go about the risk allocation and mitigation process across various project document and due diligence work streams.

We will have a particular focus on trends in the drafting and negotiation of PPA and offtake agreements, including:

- the evolving nature of CfD type offtakes to baseload/firmed PPAs; and

- key risk allocation trends including with respect to change in law, market disruption / change events, negative pricing, etc.
