District Heat Networks - Getting in the Zone

Heating accounts for 20% of the UK's greenhouse gas emissions, making the decarbonisation of heat essential for achieving our net zero targets. Previously unregulated, heat networks now have a clear pathway for development thanks to the Energy Act 2023 and the Heat Networks (Scotland) Act 2021. These regulations aim to establish cost-effective heat network zones across the UK, fostering collaboration between government, industry, and local stakeholders. Join our panel of experts as they offer insights into how this new regulatory framework will shape the delivery of heat network projects, highlighting the challenges and opportunities ahead.
