Overcoming financing challenges for green hydrogen projects - Where next with a new government?

Despite announcing ambitious targets and support for the production of green hydrogen, projects in the UK face significant risks in meeting their target start-up dates. Lenders are cautious, citing bankability challenges related to project valuations, offtake certainty, and revenue support for transport and storage as their main concerns around investing in green hydrogen.

Join us for a fruitful discussion on the future of green hydrogen under a new government, where our panel will delve into the government's priorities for green hydrogen production, transport, and storage; the challenges developers face and ways to overcome them; and how lenders’ expectations are evolving and what’s needed to boost green hydrogen development.
