IPFA Future Leaders Network Middle East
Shark Tank Competition: Building the Future of the UAE
Attendees will go head-to-head in the Infrastructure Shark Tank competition to pitch solutions for UAE's next phase of growth. With infrastructure investment accelerating across sectors, this event challenges you to think beyond your discipline and collaborate in real time.
All registered attendees will be assigned a team one week before the event and you will present your Infrastructure Project Proposal to an expert panel of 'Sharks'.
Step up! Think Big! Help drive the next wave of innovation across the region. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team! We will celebrate together after the competition at a networking reception.
Additional Information:
- You will receive a detailed information pack in the coming week with all of the details you need to know for the event
- Teams will be assigned (4 to 5 people) and will be communicated to you
- You and your team need to put together the next big Infrastructure project that you would like to see in the UAE – maybe a new concert stadium like in Abu Dhabi so we can have Cold Play come to Dubai? 😊
- On the day of the event, you will have 3 minutes to present your new idea to a panel of “sharks” – This can either be the whole team or a couple of you (I know public speaking is not always fun so no pressure here)
- The panel will judge the best project idea and choose a winner!
The winning team will get a prize!
Sharks:
- Catherine Workman, Partner, Pinsent Masons
- David Charlier, Managing Partner, Ashurst LLP
- Fathima Lijiya, Head of Investment Banking, Commercial Bank of Dubai
