Energy Transition in 2026 - Stepping on the Gas or the Brakes?

2025 was a year of geopolitical turbulence marked by escalating trade tensions, military standoffs, and also one that saw AI enthusiasm reach new heights. It was also marked the ten-year anniversary of the Paris agreement and net zero ambitions.

From that initial push, the investment community and energy industry have acknowledged the challenges of the energy transition. It is not a linear path brown to green shift, nor a linear path to market-beating returns. In this closed-session event, we will explore three core themes:

- The economics of decarbonization, and carbon price expectations in Asia

- Taking a scenario lens to managing risk in a geopolitically turbulent energy transition

- Where are the smart bets going to be made in the Energy Transition for the next five years?

By the end of this session, Future Leaders should learn valuable tools around:

- Evaluating the economic impacts of carbon pricing on different sectors
- Identifing key geopolitical risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Identifying the high-growth segments and technologies in the near-term energy transition

Calling all Future Leaders in the industry to be part of these important conversations for the Energy Transition – learn, network and secure your spot today!
