Project WIN: Stories Behind Women's Careers in Infrastructure

This IPFA Event is in collaboration with Women’s Infrastructure Network (WIN) Ireland, kindly hosted by KPMG.

Women's Infrastructure Network (WIN) Ireland is a dynamic and supportive community dedicated to advancing the careers of women professionals in the infrastructure sector.

This session explores the real stories behind women’s careers in infrastructure and project finance — the people who helped, the chances taken, and the lessons learned along the way.

Our panellists will share short reflections on what made a difference at pivotal moments: early advice, mentors and sponsors, teams that opened doors, and the challenges that shaped their next steps.

Aligned with Give to Gain for International Women’s Day, we’ll discuss how support from across the sector strengthens teams, organisations, and the wider industry.

The panel will be followed by an open Q&A and relaxed networking to continue the conversation.

Panellists

 - Joan Curry, Former Finance Officer, Department of Transport

 - Richelle Manning, Group Financial Strategy Manager, ESB

 - Paul O'Neill, Co-Head of Infrastruture and Government, KPMG

 - Moderator: Megan Roberts, Associate Director in Infrastructure and    Government, KPMG
